You Can Now 3D Print a Speaker

Back in the summer, I visited the factory of Yorkville Sound, a company that makes and distributes all manner of musical and PA gear.  One of the coolest new toys in the building was a 3D printer that they were using to test out the manufacture of new speaker enclosures.

Now some grad students at Cornell have found a way to 3D print a complete and functional speaker. Cool!
