Can you figure out what’s happening in this music video?

Montreal band Suuns remembers those 90s-era art pieces that could only be resolved by letting your eyes go blurry. They’ve just released the video for a track called “C-Thru” from their upcoming The Witness album. It took me a while but I can confirm that there are images to be discerned from this video. You just kinda have to stare off into the distance and defocus your eyes.

See if you can spot someone falling backward, a face, and rocks forming a human skull. It’s all there in the static. Really.

  • I got really good at these when I was young, it’s a bunch of sort of random things, a hand, a face, a guy drowning, a guy falling, a skull.

  • Holy cow, it’s so much harder to hold your focus on those when they’re moving. Also, whenever there were bright flashes, my eyes would totally lose focus, and I’d have to find it again.
