Can you sing like Freddie Mercury? This AI program will give you the truth

Freddie Mercury had one of the greatest voices in the history of rock. In fact, scientists and otolaryngologists–ear, nose, and throat doctors–love to study Freddie’s physiology in an effort to figure out what it was about his physical makeup that allowed him such control and range.

There are some people who can manage a reasonable facsimile of Freddie’s singing ability–truly a rare breed. But there are millions more who think they can sing like him.

Using the power of artificial intelligence, YouTube Music, with the participation of the surviving members of Queen, have come up with the FreddieMeter. Now anyone with an internet connection can find out if they can in fact sing as well as Mr. Mercury.

It’s simple. Fire up the program on your computer, sing a few bars, and the program will render a verdict on your talent or lack thereof.

Give it a shot here–if you dare.
