Canadian feds promise $500 million for arts and creative industries

If you know someone who works in the arts, you’ll know that they’re really. really hurting. With all work dried up, how can they hope to pay the rent and put food on the table?

Justin Trudeau is coming to the rescue, apparently. This week, he announced a $500 million fund that will funnel aid to areas of arts, cultures and sports.

We’re a little short on details right now, but it shouldn’t be long. It can’t come soon enough.
