Canadian Wins Grammy for Contributions to Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories

Lost in the minutiae of all the nominations, winners and losers at the Grammys last night was the fact that a Canadian picked up a Grammy for Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories.

Montreal’s Chilly Gonzales had a hand in two songs from the album: “Give Life Back” and “Within.”  His contributions were admittedly minor, but Daft Punk insisted in including him as part of their nomination.  Read more here.
