Canadian wins the 2024 World Air Guitar Championship

For the last 27 years, the good people of Oulu, Finland (look 540 km north of Helsinki), have hosted the World Air Guitar Championships.

Competition for the 2024 crown began Wednesday. By Friday night, the world had a new air guitar god: Zachary Knowles (aka Ichabod Fame). He wowed the judges with his performance of Nickelback’s “Photograph.” He beat out defending champion  Nanami “Seven Seas” Nagura of Japan and the 2022 winner, Kirill “Guitarantula” Blumenkrants of France.
