Can’t Sleep? Try Napflix. Constipated? There’s Audio for That, Too

We’ve all had those horrible sleepless nights. No matter how hard we try to calm our minds and comfort our bodies, sleep eludes us. Sometimes I just give up and watch TV until I’m tired–but then I almost inevitably stumble across something interesting which only keeps me awake longer. Enter Natplix.

Napflix is a streaming service that only offers up the most boring video its curators can find. Its creators describe what they do as a “video platform where you can find the most silent and sleepy content selection to relax your brain and easily fall asleep.”

Like what? Droning lectures. Documentaries on dry subjects. Chess matches. Slow religious rituals. Static shots of various landscapes. Or stuff like this:


And although rumours of the “brown sound” have been circulating on the Internet for years, someone brought this audio solution to constipation to my attention yesterday.
