Celine Dion Lip-Syncs. Then Again, She’s Singing in Chinese.

A substantial portion of the world’s population is celebrating Chinese New Year–the year of the snake–which means there are plenty of TV specials to run.

Amazingly, Celine Dion was invited to perform on Chinese state television for the occasion, a massively big deal for a Westerner.  She was required to sing in Mandarin, which isn’t exactly her first language.  

And if you had to perform in front of hundreds of millions of people, wouldn’t you elect to lip-sync?  Hell, yeah!
