Check Out This Fantastic Flash Mob of Classical Musicians
When was the last time you saw an awesome flash mob?
Spain’s Banco Sabadell (that’s Sabadell Bank for those that don’t speak Spanish) recently celebrated their 130th anniversary. To celebrate, and pay homage to their city, they created the campaign Som Sabbadell, or “we are Sabbadell”. It culminated with a flash mob orchestra with over 100 participants. The musicians were from Symphony Orchestra of the Valleys and choirs, Lieder and Amics of l’ Òpera, and the Choir Belles Arts. They performed Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony — one of my favourite pieces I have ever had the privilege of performing in the past — and witnesses all say it was absolutely beautiful.
