Check Out the Music Expo This September
Get ready for the second annual Music Expo. An event that music lovers will not want to miss, the trades how and concert gives attendees the opportunity to network, hear from industry leaders, and listen to some of the most prominent bands in the Greater Toronto Area. This event aims to inspire, educate, and rejuvenate music fans.
Attendees have the chance to listen to keynote speaker Alan Cross. His address will explore how the symbiotic relationship between music and technology has evolved over the past century and how it will continue into the future. Music Technology MeetUp is sponsoring Alan’s keynote address.
Fans also get the opportunity to rock out to female fronted four-piece Sumo Cyco.
Scheduled for Saturday, September 23, this year’s Music Expo will be held at the Rockpile. The Expo runs from 11am to 5pm. and at 8pm the concert begins.
This year’s Expo features the first every Mississauga Music Awards, presented by Mississauga Music and antiskeptic entertainment. It includes awards in 7 categories:
- Acoustic
- Metal
- Pop
- Punk
- Rock
- Urban
- Fan Choice
Nominees and judges will be announced later this month.
