Chester Bennington’s son is going to re-record some of dad’s songs

Before Chester Bennington headed to LA to join the band that would eventually become Linkin Park, he was in a Phoenix group called Grey Daze. They were good but not quite good enough to break through at the major label level.

But Grey Daze was very important to Chester’s development as a singer and a frontman.

The band is now back together re-recording some of its tunes. One of the guest vocalists is Jamie Bennington, Chester’s son.

Other guests on the project include Chris Traynor of Bush, Marcos Curiel of P.O.D., Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” Shaffer from Korn and Ryan Shuck, who worked with Chester in the band Dead By Sunrise.
