Chris Cornell’s Funeral Plans Revealed

While we await the results of the toxicology report, Chris Cornell will be laid to rest this Friday (May 26) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. His body was flown from Detroit on Sunday.

While the ceremony will be private, Chris’ family will coordinate public memorials. The family might help arrange an official memorial, but as you might guess, they’ve got other things on their mind right now.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery is notable for being the final resting place for a number of celebrities including the Beatles’ George Harrison, Dee Dee Ramone and Johnny Ramone along with Rudolph Valentino, Mickey Rooney and Marilyn Monroe.
