A Christmas Miracle! Casey Kasem is FINALLY Laid to Rest

Back in June, legendary DJ Casey Kasem died at the age of 82 after a long illness. But his last months were fraught with all kinds of family fighting, battles which did not end when he passed away.  First his body was in Washington state, then Montreal and then for some ungodly reason, Norway. The man lay in a fridge unembalmed for more than six months.

Finally, though, it appears he’s been laid to rest.  The story out of Norway is that he was buried last Tuesday (December 16) at Vestre Gavlund, a large Norwegian cemetery.  His wife, Jean, was there, but his children, were not. They didn’t find out about the burial until a day before it happened.

And this isn’t over yet. The LAPD are still investigating charges of elder abuse.

  • This is worthy of an entire Ongoing History episode itself!
