WTF?

Church commissions a statue of Baby Jesus. They end up with something that looks like Phil Collins.

When a Catholic church in the Mexican city of Chimalhuacán commissioned a new sculpture of the Baby Jesus from artist Roman Salvador, they probably weren’t expecting anything like this.

The resulting piece of religious art is 22 feet tall and weighs at least a ton. Impressive–expect that this Baby Jesus bears an uncanny resemblance to Phil Collins.

If you ever find yourself in the state of Zacatecas, you might want to take a side trip over to the La EpifanÍa del Señor church to see for yourself.

  • I can only assume they took inspiration from the book of Genesis.
