Comparing the streaming stats of older artists to contemporary ones on Spotify

Cameron Gordon is back with a Completely Ignored graphic that looks at how many monthly listeners older artists (described as those who debuted between 1950 and 2000) have on Spotify.

There’s not a lot of rock here. And if you look at the numbers put up be contemporary artist, there’s no contest. See the full image here and then scroll down to see how newer acts are doing. (Fun fact: Three of the top four streamers on Spotify are Canadian.)
