Could this be the grossest vinyl record ever released?

Private Function is a band from Melbourne, Australia that knows how to grab some publicity. This Friday (March 31), they will release a new album entitled 370HSSV 0773H. The vinyl version comes in different versions, including one with a scratch and sniff cover (which may be illegal under Australian law) and a special gold disc. But why is it gold? How did they make it that colour?

If you’re already thinking urine, you’re correct.

The fifty people who pre-ordered the special gold record are going to be surprised.

Note to Jack White and his predilection for releasing unusual vinyl records through Third Man: Please don’t.
