Creepy Bad Taste: Mementos from Chester Bennington’s Funeral Have Showed Up on eBay
When the 200 invited guests arrived at Chester Bennington’s funeral last Saturday (July 29), they were given special laminates and wristbands. No one else was allowed in. Family, friends, close associates, that’s it. And for that extra layer of privacy, the family requested that no one take photos or video.
Less than a week later, some of those mementos were up for sale on eBay.And look at the prices.
Gross. People are selling items given out at Chester Bennington’s memorial on #ebay #shameless pic.twitter.com/Yt53HFRm6q

If this is real, then not only is it ghoulish but it’s terribly insulting to Chester’s memory, not to mention disrespectful to the family’s wishes. The good news is that when people complained, eBay removed the items.

Alan,
Your posts are usually well crafted. Noticed two ‘ typos’ in today’s issue, though. I don’t think momento is a word.
Yeah, I missed that one first time through. It was corrected in a later edit.
