The CRTC Seems to be Concerned About the Future of Canadian Radio

Last week, the Hollywood Reporter carried a story on comments regional CRTC commissioner Raj Shoan made at the National Conference of the Broadcast Educators Association back on May 22. (I was overseas, so I missed this one.) Here’s a quote from the article:

Shoan also warned the Canadian radio industry against napping as automakers design “an interactive dashboard of the future” to access audio content beyond AM/FM radio.

“…There’s a major curve in the road ahead for radio and I hope industry is paying attention,” he added.
