Daddy Hires Drake to Play Daughter’s Bat Mitzvah

On last night’s episode of Vinyl (ep. 2), Ray Romano’s character is shamed into spending a fortune on his daughter’s bat mitzvah. Such extravagances are the thing of real life, too.

Witness this New York City event at the Rainbow Room at the top of 30 Rock that featured an appearance by Drake. He drops in, performs three eleven songs and collected his cheque–which must have been sizeable.

UPDATE: I did some asking around. Drake’s going rate for something like this is between $300,000 and $600,000 USD.

Nice work if you can get it, huh?
