So Dallas Green Secretly Recorded an Album with his Friend P!nk–and It’s Really Good. Wait–THAT P!nk?

Yep: Alecia Moore. The project is called YOU+ME (pronounced “You and Me”) and the album, entitled Rose Ave., is set to come out on October 14. I’ve heard the whole thing and it’s quite tremendous. P!nk–sorry, Alecia–has been a City and Colour fan for a while and invited Dallas to visit her place in LA. Some magic happened and–well, this is the result.

This sample–NOT the first single, by the way–will give you an idea of how well they work together. Scroll down for the track listing.

01 Capsized

02 From a Closet in Norway (Oslo Blues)

03 Gently

04 Love Gone Wrong

05 You And Me

06 Unbeliever

07 Second Guess

08 Break The Cycle

09 Open Door

10 No Ordinary Love (And yes, this is a cover of the Sade song.)

  • This one song sounds better than the entire Hurry and the Harm album.

  • Great song. Their voices compliment each other nicely. Old reference, but like Ian and Silvia.

  • I would not have expected it to be that good. But it’s great! Totally going to pick this up when it’s released.
