Dave Grohl, Chad Smith, and Stephen Perkins played a pizza joint the other night

Dave Grohl took a bit of break from the current Foo Fighters tour Monday night (August 21) to play a give at a pizza joint. He along with Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Stephen Perkins (Jane’s Addiction), Greg Bissonette, and Shane Hawkins (son of Taylor) held a gig at the Rock N Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley, California.

Taylor Hawkins had a fun side project called Chevy Metal who played mostly covers. This gig was done in that spirit with the band performing material by AC/DC, Bowie, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Motley Crue, and Black Sabbath.

Naturally, there’s video.
