Dave Grohl had secret surgery on his arm this month

Remember those stories of a couple of cancelled Foo Fighters shows due to “an injury to one of the band members?” Two gigs, Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th in New Orleans were called off.

Who was the band member? And what was the injury? Turns out it was Dave Grohl.

No, he didn’t fall off a stage again. He’d been putting off correcting something with left arm for some time because the Foo Fighters have been so busy. But after the Super Bowl Festival performance, there was no question that it had to be fixed now.

What was the nature of the problem? Dave hasn’t said, but he says that he’s fine. The only issue he’s having is having to deal with some time off. Relaxing isn’t something Dave does well.
