Dave Grohl Offers Sample of the Sound City Soundtrack

Sound City, the documentary of the legendary (but now closed) recording studio in LA, has been Dave Grohl’s passion project for some time.  And in case you haven’t heard, he’s put together an all-star band for the premiere.  The line-up includes Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield (?!?), members of Rage Against the Machine and more.

The soundtrack for the film won’t be out until March 12, but Dave has leaked this sample featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick.  The full tracklist after the jump.
