Dave Grohl spotted two weeks after Foos “unforeseen medical issue.”

Two weeks ago, the Foo Fighters boarded a private jet bound for Chicago where they were to transfer to a nonstop Etihad flight to Abu Dhabi. They were on their way to play a post-race gig for the final Formula 1 race of the year.

But they never made that transfer. Once the plane was on the ground in Chicago, one of the band members was transferred to the hospital due to “unforeseen medical issues.” The F1 gig was canceled and radio silence descended.

The news blackout has been complete. Not only have there been no statements or updates from the band in any form, but there have been zero in the wake of rumours. Not even TMZ or The Daily Mail have had anything to report, nor have any of the gossip sites. This has created an information vacuum that fans are starting to fill with their own theories.

There has been one Dave Grohl sighting in LA. We don’t have a date on which this was taken, but it seems recent. Here it is.

We’re no closer to learning what happened two weeks ago, but at least it appears Dave is okay. That’s something.

  • Hi Alan,

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a fantastic time with family and friends!

Do you have any cool Rush stories or facts etc.?

I am a HUGE Rush fan (sigh never saw them in concert 🙁

Throughout the pandemic Rush’s music has helped with my mental health, since the reporting of Neil Peart’s death I have been playing Rush music in the car and at home (I have been lucky that I have been working from home).

    Stay safe and healthy,

    Steve

  • This reminds me of the situation just prior to Prince’s death. Maybe there were warning signs, but it doesn’t matter now. So sad.
