Nope. This isn’t weird at all. Right?
Back on March 18, a rapper named Goonew was shot in the parking lot in Maryland in an apparent armed robbery. At this point, no suspects are in custody.
On Sunday (April 3), Goodnew’s family, friends, and fans gathered for a celebration of life event at Bliss Nightclub, a venue in Washington DC. The guest of honour was, yes, Goonew.
Goonew, in all his embalmed glory, was propped up, wearing designer clothes and a crown. The body stayed there for the entire night as the party unfolded.
And yes, there’s been a backlash. The club has had to apologize.
