Desert Trip, Weekend 1: Video Highlights

The first weekend of Desert Trip–the California event some have dubbed “Oldchella” (cumulative age of all the performers is 651)–is in the books and the reviews are in. According to everything I’ve heard, it was an unqualified success, featuring stellar performances from the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Paul McCartney, The Who and Roger Waters.

Here are some video highlights. (I’m off to see part 2 this coming weekend. I’ll report back.)
