Did police pepper spray the crowd at a Turnstile show?

As American turns more and more into a police state (Hello, Portland! Resist!), it’s important to highlight stories like this.

On September 24, Turnstile was playing a show in Richmond, Virginia, when a fan invaded the stage. Usually, this is not the best behaviour, but it’s something that happens at all kinds of shows. The twist in this case is that Turnstile actually invited fans up on the stage during a performance of the song “Birds.” This is not a new thing for the band. It’s become customary during this song. They do it All. The. Time.

Yet when bands attempted to accept the invitation, security had other ideas. Watch this video as at least one fan gets pepper sprayed by a cop. Note the band trying to help fans.

An Investigaton has been launched into the situation.
