  • I wish I could find out whose account is true from the first time Segovia met Villa Lobos in 1924.

Segovia claims Villa Lobos was clumsy and out of practice while Villa Lobos claimed to have impressed Segovia with an “impossible technique”.

There are no videos of Villa Lobos playing to my knowledge since he died in 57 but some of his pieces are incredibly hard to play.
