An astounding nine in ten Britons say they find someone who plays guitar instantly sexy.
Respondents agreed unanimously that guitars have the power to transform undesirable geeks into gods, captured in cult classics such as The Blues Brothers and Wayne’s World.
And a quarter of the UK’s population (25 per cent) openly admit to dating someone purely because they can play the guitar.
While both men and women confirm that playing the guitar can make a person instantly more attractive to the opposite sex, it’s men who go out their way to learn the instrument for the sake of a girl.
