Elon Musk is having a lousy Christmas thanks to the Twitter sh*tshow. Let’s review.
Here’s an executive summary of Elon Musk’s 2022:
- Laid off half of Twitter’s staff and then immediately regretted it.
- Got rid of the board of directors
- Mused about Twitter going bankrupt
- Introduced a subscription service that only brought in loads of trolls and imposters
- Dropped any internal safeguards against disinformation and hate speech
- Reinstated a bunch of banned accounts
- Suspended legitimate journalists who questioned anything he was doing
- Went to war with advertisers
- Called for Anthony Fauci to be prosecuted for…something.
- Urged everyone to vote Republican in the midterms
- Lost a poll in which he asked if he should resign as CEO.
- Sent Tesla shareholders into a panic.
