Have You Ever Bought Music You Never Intended to Play?
I certainly have–although when I bought it, I was sure I was going to listen to it someday. Yet I have piles of unheard CDs in my office and perhaps thousands of never-heard music file on the server in the basement. What was I thinking?
And let’s not even venture into the realm of collectible and rare CDs and vinyl that I purchases in far-flung stops around the world. Almost none of them have seen a laser or a needle. But I sought them out and now I own them. Shouldn’t that count for something?
