Explaining Major Vs Minor Key Using Christmas Songs

Not all of us are music geniuses and sometimes the best explanation is an example. Here’s Chase Holfelder using Christmas carols to explain the differences between major and minor keys. It’s pretty good (despite having to hear EVEN MORE Christmas songs). Major key is used to make things brighter while minor key tends to add a more contemplative and quiet feeling to song.
