Facebook’s Music Play Coming September 22?

Troy Carter, the very smart manager of Lady Gaga, believes that the next game-changer will come when Facebook integrates a killer music app.  

That day might be September 22.

Facebook has something called the f8 Conference, the event that showcases all their new stuff.  We’ve been hearing about some kind of skunkworks project involving music, but while there have been plenty of rumours, it’s been all smoke and no fire so far.

But things are begin to resolve into something coherent.  Thanks to people who like to divine things by looking at developer code, it’s now expected that Facebook will announce a music and media platform in three weeks.

Or maybe not.
