Faith No More has inspired a tabletop role-playing game

You might remember a story from back in 2022 about a new role-playing game based on Faith No More. It was originally called The Real Thing after the band’s 1989 album. I quote from the creators of the game:

The Real Thing is a self-contained, story-driven, pen-and-paper roleplaying game inspired by the music of Faith No More. Specifically, we have drawn significant story elements and inspiration from Faith No More’s album from 1989 entitled The Real Thing. TWhile the concept for the story is grounded in the music and words from the album of the same name, it also pulls in themes and other elements from other Faith No More titles.”

There’s now a Kickstarter campaign that expands the game into Angel Dust and King for a Day. Here’s what fans are in for.
