Documentary

Finally! A Dread Zeppelin documentary? (No, that’s not a typo)

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, alt-rock rock radio was visited by Dread Zeppelin, a bunch of white guys from Sierra Madre California performing Led Zeppelin songs in a reggae style. Out front was Tortelvis, a 300-pound Elvis impersonator. I interviewed them a couple of times and they were a ton of fun.

Dread Zeppelin secured a recording deal and toured until 2016. Finally, their story can be told in this new documentary. (Via Danny)
