Finally: High-end Ladies Headphones

Most headphone manufacturers target men.  The ones that do target women look like they were designed my men who thought they knew what women wanted.  That’s resulted in far more misses than hits.

When I was in South Korea earlier this month, I ran across some of the worst-looking headphones I’d ever seen–and they all targeted women.

There was a part of hideously overpriced Beats by Dr. Dre cans festooned with what looked like pounds of Swarovksi crystal.  But they looked classy next to the pair of $700 Hello Kitty ‘phones.

These, then, are a welcome addition: stylish, comfortable over-the-ear headphones designed with women in mind.  My wife says “That’s nice.  I’d use those.”

And at $300, the price is in line with the market for good headphones.  Maybe she’ll get a set for her birthday.
