With a new album from the Pixies due something this year, it’s a good time to remember why the band remains so beloved more than 30 years after they were formed.

A new 12-part(!!!) doc called Past is Prologue (i.e. a look at the past is a way to prepare for the future album, geddit?) promises to go very, very, very deep into Pixies history for the detail fans have been craving for.

The series will debut June 27 and be doled out on a weekly basis. Apple, Spotify, Acast, Stitcher and Google will all have it.
