First 3-D Printer Renditions of Vinyl Records

You may have heard about 3-D printing, a technology poised to take off in a major, major way in the next few years.

Basically, this involves making three-dimensional solid objects from a digital model using various layers of material carefully laid down in tiny successive layers.  It’s real Star Trek replicator stuff.
