First Acts for Iceland’s 2017 Summer Solstice Festival Announced

As we approach the winter solstice, the organizers of Secret Solstice, Iceland’s biggest music festival held at the opposite side of Earth’s orbit, have announced their first acts for 2017.

Foo Fighters? The Prodigy? Richard Ashcroft? They’re off to a good start.


Alan Cross

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 30+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.

    Horrible organize festival and it’s not guaranty that you can see the main act because they will sell 16000 tickets but the main venue can only occupied 8500 people
