If you’re like me, you probably subscribe to some kind of loyalty program, be it a credit card that helps you accumulate frequent flyer miles to something that rewards you for buying gas at the same place. But what about a loyalty program for music fans?

That’s where Flowd comes in. From Wired:
Setting up a new social network might seem like a crazy thing to do when everyone’s already on general-purpose networks like Facebook and Twitter. But Flowd offers bands more than those do: It gives them the chance to build customized offers for their fans using a simple, web-based wizard that even the drummer can figure out, to offer complex “Offers” redeemable via mobile coupon on a smartphone.
Interesting idea. Read about it here.
