Foo Fighters Cover “Never Gonna Give You Up” in Japan. With Rick Astley, Of Course (And It’s NSFW)

The Foo Fighters performed the most awesome rickroll in history at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan. Dave invited Rick Astley onstage to sing “Never Gonna Give You Up,” but with a sonic twist. You’ll see what I mean. (Via Danny)

I was expecting at first the smells like teen spirit mash up version, but I’m guessing Dave wouldn’t have felt right doing that without Kurt’s approval.
so he wrote something similar.and its probably better that way.

my question is did he bring Astley back out to duet on Everlong?
youtube suggested this link after watching the Rick Foo.

…and then theres rick singing Highway to hell and playing drums…
I hate to say it but it’s almost a shame he didn’t front a REAL rock band in the 80’s .
he was actually a good singer…but the music SUCKED.
