Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins Almost As Busy As His Boss

No one knows more about the drummer-as-a-frustrated-frontman syndrome more than Dave Grohl, so when his chief timekeeper says that he wants to stretch his legs, he’s not going to get in his way.

The Foos’ Taylor Hawkins has another new project, although the lineup for The Birds of Satan is exactly the same as Chevy Metal, his metal covers band. But it is a different group than his last band, The Coattail Riders.

The group’s self-titled album will be out April 15.  And yes, Dave appears on the record.  Here’s a trailer for the record.
