The Foo Fighters Expand from Five to Six Members

I should have caught this earlier. Why are there six people in the cast photo for the video for “Run?”

The sixth guy is longtime support keyboardist Rami Jaffe, also a member of the Wallflowers. Hardcore Foos fans know that he’s been working with the band since 2005. But he’s also never been listed as being an official member of the group until “Run” came out. Dave dropped word that Rami was now an official Foo in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

As for information on a new album, there’s nothing to report yet. But given that “Run” was such a big surprise, who knows what the Foos have in store?

Rami was listed as a member on the Saint Cecilia EP. Figured he had been upgraded to full member since then.
