Former My Chemical Romance drummer found dead under strange circumstances

Not even two weeks after My Chemical Romance announced a big stadium tour celebrating The Black Parade, former drummer Bob Bryar was found dead. He was 44. Bryar was with the band between 2004 and 2010 and was the group’s last official full-time drummer. We don’t know if there were plans to have him join the 2025 tour.

As far as I know, he’d been working in real estate since 2014.

Bryar was last seen alive on November 4, His body was found at his Tennessee home last Tuesday (November 29) by police. Reports say it was in an advanced state of decomposition. Police arrived to take away his two dogs when they found him. He was deeply involved in dog rescuses and dog sanctuaries. He auctioned off a lot of his gear in 2021 to raise money for those causes,

No foul play is suspected and no cause of death has been announced. However, if we go back a few years, he was kicked out of MCR over various tensions. In 2015, he said he’d become he “the most depressed, angry, suicidal person ever.”

He also once tweeted “I am on so many pills that I feel a bit better, although, it still (b)others me every day. In a recent conversation, I was told I won’t be back.”
