Freddy Mercury’s Rolls Royce for Sale

A 1974 Roller isn’t anything to write home about.  As cars go, it’s not very good, especially when compared to a modern vehicle.

This car, however, was owned by Queen’s Freddy Mercury.  His ’74 Silver Shadow was bought used in 1979 and he drove it until he died in 1991.  Since then, his sister has had the car ever since, carefully maintaining it.

The still road-worthy Roller is now up for sale.  If you’re interested, guesses are it’ll sell for around $16,000. Full details on the sale here.
