Fun: The first two hours of MTV from August 1, 1981

If you were around in the early 80s, you’ll know how MTV changed the music game. It didn’t happen right away–its influence took at least two years to become visible–but once it did, everything was different.

The channel went on the air at midnight on August 1, 1981. The first two hours looked like this.
