Geddy Lee’s “Are Bass Players Human Too?” debuts today on Paramount+

Geddy Lee has been busy since Rush (apparently) came to an end a few years back. First, there was his Big Beautiful Book of Bass coffee table book. Last month saw the release of his memoir, My Effin’ Life. He’s opening musing about returning to music with Alex Lifeson. And today (December 5), a new documentary debuts on Paramount+ called Geddy Lee: Are Bass Players Human Too?

The four-part series features appearances by Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Robert Trujillo (Metallica), and Melissa Auf Der Maur (Hole, Smashing Pumpkins). He also dropped by to visit Les Claypool of Primus so Geddy could learn the finer points of light earthmoving.
