Led Zeppelin got together for their first rehearsal fifty years ago. To commemorate that fact, a lavish coffee table book, Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin, was released in October. Just in time for Christmas, there’s a new trailer to prime the holiday shopping pump.

Difficult to objectively assess the group as their excesses and the notoriety surrounding Led Zeppelin have overshadowed everything. Their first album though is still maybe the best debut by any group in rock music.
