Good News, 90s Fans: The Original Veruca Salt Is Back

Veruca Salt, the Willy Wonka-named boy-girl band out of Chicago that broke up over boyfriend issues, are coming back in their original form.

Nina Gordon and Louise Post are friends again and have gathered up Jim Shapiro and Steve Lack to record a new album with the same guy who helped them with their fun American Thighs album.

Although the reunion was announced on Facebook earlier this year, we haven’t heard much about things until now.  The band has confirmed that they’ll perform together for the first time in forever in LA on December 18.

Get reacquainted with “Seether.”  More details at the Brooklyn Vegan.

Not gonna lie; I'm pretty stoked about this. "Levolor" and "Victrola" remain longtime favorites.
