Good news! Travis Barker cleared to play with blink-182

After some scary weeks dealing with blood clots and a tissue infection in both arms, Travis Barker has been cleared to resume playing with blink-182.

The band had to postpone a number of gigs in their Las Vegas residency when Travis was hit with the clots and the infection. Treatment with blood thinners and antibiotics combined with a sabbatical from playing seems to have cleared everything up.

Travis has had a rough summer. He was also involved in a crash with a school bus that totaled his Mercedes G-Wagon. He was taking his son and a friend to a basketball game when they were all t-boned by the empty bus.

No wonder Travis thought that the gods were out to get him.

Blink will get back in the saddle with a seven-date tour through September before restarting their weekend residency at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on October 27.
